Can I invest in IPOs using Kristal
Currently we do not have a IPO kristal. However, you can invest in IPOs in your linked Zerodha account. This can be done using Netbanking account using ASBA.
The process is as follows:
In your Netbanking account, you need to select IPO request under ASBA
Select depository as CDSL
When promoted for Demat A/C#, you enter your 16 digit zerodha account number. This number is available in Zerodha back office platform and is called “IPO Application #”
Enter your PAN#, if prompted
Mention 3 bid prices and save.
On the day on issuance, amount gets deducted from your Netbanking and next day by 10:00 the stocks get transferred to your Zerodha account.
You can then sell the stocks, if desired.
